Rules: (PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES BEFORE YOU REGISTER!!!) 1) A/AA-league : Best 8 teams according to previous tournament standings decided by League Director. 2) B/BB-league : The rest of teams (not including Co-ed teams). 3)* C-league : Co-ed, 3 females , 7 males. 4) One player only represents one team in A/B leagues except C league with restrictions. 5) Only Asian/ or Chinese American players are qualified. Game is forfeited if any illegal players found (except for existing non-Asian players). 6) League director has the right to deny the team with non-qulaified players. 7) Any player not listed in the application form will not be allowed to play. 8) Mercy rule is an option for losing team to decide if there are 16 runs or more gap at the end of 5th inning. No mercy rule in play-off. No score limit in each inning. 8-1) 2 home runs limit for each team. Additional home run will be a "Single" and base runners are allowed for one base ONLY. 9) Maximum 7 innings or 70 minutes each game. Umpire will inform both teams in last inning. 10) Game could be tied except playoff. 11) One pitch-runner allowed for each team in each inning. 12) Players without any NUMBER are not allowed to play. This is mandatory. Team T-shirt/ jersey is required. 13) 10 players (Min 6 players; 4M, 2F (7M/3F) for Co-ed ). Slow Pitch (6 to 12 ' arch). 14) 25 feet commitment line from the 3rd base to the home base is applied. 15) No need to step on the home base in order to score. offenders will be called out (No warning) ***(5/23/04)*** Stepping in batting area may be called out. 15-1) First base rule: Always step on the outside base unless it's double or triple bases hit and running to second base. 16) Start with one strike and one ball. One fault is allowed. Two faults are counted as strikeout. 17) No lead off. No stealing. No bunt. Max 15 runs for each inning for all leagues. 18) Batting order must be on the line-up card for ten players. Additional players are allowed to be added to the batting order. But once the player is added, he/she will not be allowed to drop except the injury. 19)* Level C is a modified Co-Ed. One* female player are required to station in the infield except the pitcher and catcher. Three defense positions are reserved for female only, no male substitution. 20) For level-C, the batting order should be: M M F ,Any missing F will be counted as an OUT. 20-1)* Walk of Guy batter before Woman, 2 base award. No matter how many outs. Woman batter has the option to hit or take first base. 20-2)* Small ball used for Women batters only. 21) Game time is also the forfeit time if no enough players (60%) come to play. 22) Managers or captains are responsible for the result of scoresheet. Verify with umpire at the end of game. 23) First forfeit costs $50. Second forfeit costs $50 and will result in being dropped from the tournament. Each forfeited game is scored as 0 to 21. 24) Use legal bats adopted by ASA ONLY. 25) ASA rules are applied to the rules which are not specified above.
